Rampage at the Ridge is an extreme 5K obstacle and mud run that was initially created in 2014 by the United Way of Northeastern MN (UWNEMN) to raise awareness and funds to expand local veterans programming throughout Northeastern MN.  While it is not required, participants are encouraged to raise pledges for their run to raise money for the "United for Veterans" Initiative.

Not a veteran myself, I know of many vets who struggle with issues related to military service and find it hard to recieve services.

This is just a very small token of my appreciation for their sevice whether or not they saw combat; they still sacrificed part of their lives for a greater good.
